As we headed down to our beach house in Bay Head, New Jersey, for most of the month of August, Rex and the girls and I had a few things on our wish lists, but we figured we would save our shopping for a rainy day. Well, this year the weather gods smiled upon us, and that rainy day never came. We didn't see a single movie at the theatre in Brick, NJ, and every sunny day meant the errands would have to wait.
Finally, as Labor Day approached, there were a few clouds in the sky and the forecast offered up "scattered showers," so we jumped into our Chevy Suburban and headed north to
The Grove at Shrewsbury. First things first…we were starved, so we enjoyed an outdoor lunch (the showers held off) at Pasta Fresca. Then we shopped till we dropped!
